WOC2012 Updates
200 Ophthalmologists offered grant to attend WOC2012
MEACO and the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) have offered grants to 200 ophthalmologists and ophthalmologists-in-training to participate in the WOC2012. The grant covers registration, visa and accommodation. The awardees, mostly from Middle East and Africa regions, were selected by an independent committee representing all segments of MEACO region. French Sessions at WOC 2012
MEACO organizes, for the first time in WOC history, French scientific sessions during WOC2012 in Abu Dhabi. There will be four sessions which will cover topics on Oculoplastics, Glaucoma, Anterior Segment and Retina. These will be held on Sunday, 19 February 2012, from 8:30am to 5:00pm at the Capital Suite 9 in Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC). MEACO Residency Directors symposium at WOC2012
MEACO organizes an exciting symposium on the challenges to quality residency training in the MEACO region. The session will discuss challenges and solutions to the different residency training programs in MEACO region.
