    Women in Ophthalmology at WOC2012

    Check out the exciting “Women in Ophthalmology” session at the WOC2012 in Abu Dhabi on the challenges women face in their ophthalmological career, as well as new developments and ideas to engage women further in ophthalmology. It will also include topics on how to balance your personal and profession life, create a brand for yourself and develop equity in training.
    Come learn about these on February 18th from 15:30-17:30 in Hall 11.

    WOC2012 Invited Program now available online

    The WOC2012 Invited Program is now available for viewing online! This program will include symposia, case studies, debates, panel discussions, video sessions, interactive lectures and much more. In addition to the invited program, an extensive submitted program is currently being developed and will include subspecialty free paper sessions, instruction courses and a wide range of video and poster presentations.

    26th Annual Conference of the Ophthalmological Society of Ghana
    Kumasi, Ghana, 7-8 October 2011

    The Ophthalmological Society of Ghana is holding its 26th annual conference from 7-8 October 2011 at the Golden Tulip in Kumasi, Ghana. The theme of the meeting is “Improving Eye Health in Ghana: Our Collective Responsibility” and the sub theme is “Uveitis: Management Challenges in our Clinical Practice”.

    MEACO organizes Pediatric and Refractive Surgery Subspecialty Courses in Nigeria

    MEACO will be organizing basic and advanced courses on pediatric ophthalmology and another basic course on refractive surgery during the 36th annual meeting of the Ophthalmological Society of Nigeria (OSN). The meeting is scheduled from 7 - 11 September 2011 at the Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.

    MEAGS participates in the OSEA 2011 Meeting

    MEACO, through the Middle East Africa Glaucoma Society (MEAGS), will participate at the Ophthalmological Society of Eastern Africa (OSEA) Meeting. The meeting is scheduled from 13- 14 October 2011 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Further details of the meeting will be available soon.
